The level of cuisine dropped after their Michelin chef left. It used to be fine dinning level with great menu. Now it is just making sense come to enjoy view and take a drink. It s not for eating anymore((

La Lara is some of the best food we found in Turkey, and we have very high standards! During our lovely stay at Spektr, we enjoyed the Turkish breakfast there every day and basically lived on their Caesar salads and Fettuccine Alfredo from their restaurant. The chocolate cake is also very good, and my husband really liked the chicken with rice and pineapple.
I casually mentioned to the manager Hakki that it was my birthday and the whole staff went ALL OUT! They surprised me with birthday pancakes and mozzarella tomato salad that was delightful. I was blown away and it made my day really special. The service is excellent and the view and ambiance is breathtaking.
When I first came to La Lara I was sad because my own cat had passed away that week. But the company of the wonderful cats at breakfast really cheered me up. They are so sweet and well cared for. I love that the restaurant feeds them leftovers to ensure they are healthy and well cared for.
