Was invited to this place by a close friend. What a pleasant surprise! Joe, the owner and host, as truly welcoming. I suffer from serious allergies and he was so understanding and supportive, and assured me that I could put my mind at rest as he would make sure that these issues were considered. He really did! We had an amazing dinner. The platter starters were excellent, but the rib eye steak which he served me was one of the best ever I had anywhere. Truly top shelf! Joe is an amazing host too, and we remained there until closing time! And, for sure, we will go back - La Favorita is now our favorita! Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Local familiar y acogedor.
Hmm.. a little bit strange experience. The food was good, actually the fish platter. Potatoes and grilled vegetables not so much. The atmosphere was very strange, without any music, service very cold and without interest. I asked for small sparkling water, the lady brought a big one. When I said wanted small, she just answered very flat and cold THERE ISN'T ANY and she was very disappointed that we dont want to drink wine (??). I mean, if you want to eat and run home fast, you can stop by. But if you want to enjoy your meal in a cozy atmosphere - find another place. What shall I say? We loved it. Honesty, simplicity, hospitality and deliciousness describe the three evenings (out of nine days we spent in Malta) we spent at La Favorita enjoying the best fish dishes we ever had! Will definitely come back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really really delicious Maltese food. Seafood is quite fresh and juicy, and each plate is quite large for at least two mouths.
Genuine seafood dishes and fish cooked to perfection. Service is excellent. No frills and bells. Just hearty, homemade food.

I opted for fresh fish (Qawrata) and it was really good. Food took a little while until it was served even though the restaurant was not that busy on a week night, however it was well worth the wait.
