Had the juevos motuleños 😍 delicious
Topped it off with a piña colada and cappuccino...ended up being more food than I imagined because they provided chips and salsas as well. Tastes very authentic -- highly recommended

We had an amazing meal at La Coronela. One of the highlights of the evening was the owner's Griselda presence and willingness to answer all of our questions. It was clear that she was passionate about the food and took pride in sharing her knowledge with us. This personal touch made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The service at this restaurant was good. The staff was attentive and friendly.
Now, let's talk about the food. It was undoubtedly the best meal we had the entire week. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors.
I had a frozen mezcalita, and it was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and had just the right amount of smokiness from the mezcal.
One more thing worth mentioning is the price. Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, the prices at this restaurant are very reasonable. It's a place where you can have a fantastic dining experience without breaking the bank.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine that is more elevated than your average taqueria. The owner's passion, excellent service, and outstanding food make it a must-visit.

Service and food were ok. Though knowing that it’s in the touristic centre, I still found it overpriced. Waitress openly asked for 15-20% tips when paying. We are not in the USA and I’m from Europe, I found it inappropriate but I gave it in the Christmas spirit anyway.

Go try this place if you're coming to Playa Del Carmen, it's nice!
🏖 Vibe: Really cool vibe, cute little restaurant a few steps away from la Quinta.
🍴Food: Delicious brunch but a bit pricey for the quantity, I was still hungry after the Huevos Rancheros. A side of fries or plantain would have been perfect.
🍹Drinks: smoothie and coffees were really good.
🤵♀️ Service: friendly service and smiling staff

This restaurant is probably one of the best authentic mexican restaurants in the area. It's small and cozy, unlike some of the other restaurants closer to the main tourist area. They have happy hours where you get 2 drinks for the price of 1 and their drinks are pretty good.
Food was good, but pricey for the value. We ordered 2 horchatas, snd and an « American platter » (enough food for 1 person) and it came to over 40$. The beans and taquitos were great, and server was lovely just a bit of a tourist trap
The best flan I had during my 3 weeks travel in Mexico ! It’s really delicious ! We stayed 2 days in playa del Carmen and went eat there 3 times !!
Everything is very good, the guacamole, the enchiladas ! Everything!
And the staff is really nice ! They are kind ! And food come kind of fast for Mexico ! If you are looking for a restaurant in that area you would be dealing with tourist price, that restaurant has better price and most importantly really better quality! I really recommend it as I deeply loved it ✨

Very good juice drinks. The food was good, we had the fish dinner and the fajitas, they were cooked perfectly, but needed seasoning. No AC, it will be hot in the summer.
