A delicious piece of France in Hamilton. Tucked away in an industrial area in Riverlea, not far off SH1c. Plenty of parking. Climate controlled chamber for an abundant selection of wines and chocolate. Fresh and bake-at-home French made pastries. Cheeses, meats, oils, sweets... A must of you have the slightest gastronomic bone in your body.

Excellent products and service here.. the young lady was very helpful, knew all the products, she gave great recommendations and helped me with packaging up a gift box for family, which they loved their gift. Thank you I will definitely be back

A wonderful foodie destination. Excellent French and other European foodie delights. The perfect stop to stock up on wine and cheese for the weekend, gifts for people who are hard to buy for or simply treat yourself. You know you deserve it!
If you are in search of epicurean European delights in Hamilton, than look no further than La Cave! This specialist shop stocks only the best and most exceptional brands of fine European cuisines and alcohols, all of which are well worth the price you pay!
Very nice European specialties and yummy freshly baked bread. They were even better when they still sold specialty liqueur, which they had to give up on. The selection of cheeses is great and so are the cured meats! They often have specials on stuff that is past its best-before date.
Great French products at good prices. I particularly enjoyed the fresh baguette and the cheeses, and real mustard at an imbattable price. Next time I'll try some wines. If only the shopkeeper would have spoken french (even just a couple of words), I would have given a perfect score.

Always a season selection of yummy things, as well as wonderful wines, cheeses, and all things French. And there’s usually a few things on special to ease your budget conscience. Love, love, love. Vive la France!
Run by two happy French people and the visitors quite often carry on conversations with them in French as they go about the shop. They are most happy to help with anything you are looking for and can most times order it if they can get it. Lots of imported french goods (cheeses, wines, breads and lots of other stuff!) as well as a selection of items from around Italy (i.e. Oils and Panettone). Also can't forget about the Chocolates, coffee, cookware, and lots of little french knick knacks (heh no need to go to France for Souvenirs!) Even got our Christmas Ham from them last year - although I think it came from somewhere in NZ ;-) Love it so much I got back every 2-3 weeks.
