This little gem is hidden inside a prior takeaway shop, only the paper sign in front of the shop hinting to the new French owner: La bouffe offers delicious burgers, souvlaki and crepes for those seeking high quality food without spending hundreds of euros or having to go to one of the big takeaway chains. All dishes are prepared freshly and the lovely owner pours his love for good food into every dish. Can recommend for tasty burgers or a delicious sweet snack while exploring the area!

Really fantastic little place! I walked by after dinner and saw that they had crepes so I popped in and bought a lemon crepe, the classic! It was a fantastic crepe and I will absolutely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Super friendly and funny chef! Kept the store open past his opening hours for over an hour just to make dinner for our big group, and it was delicious!

I’m on the bus ride home from work, back in Christchurch, and I’m daydreaming about the burger I had here. The homemade pattie is to die for. Fries were also cooked to perfection.
