Food is so bomb, best italian food I've ever had anywhere and I have been to many "authentic" places. Came 3 times bro so fire. I learned the owner is Italian so it checks out why the food is so good! Jimi y Aurelio y Carlos fueron muy amambles y nos nos falto nada! Definitely recommend pasta was creamy and freshly made and so was the gnocchi and pizza was nice and soft. Update Sept 24: Dinner: Have visited multiple times for dinner. Typically have a pizza or pasta. Pizza crust is always perfect. Great variety of toppings. Pastas are great too. Service is friendly and efficient always. A gem of a place. BREAKFAST: Felt I must add a breakfast review, as the restaurant is different from a.m. to p.m. (Menu/staff) I made it my regular morning place to start for the last three weeks. Opens "early" @ 730am. Breakfast selection is "typical" as are prices for restaurants on 5a. The setting has two options, within the inner covered courtyard, and the sidewalk seating. Bathrooms conveniently located. However, what is extraordinary, is the attention given by staff. Experienced, attentive and friendly, very welcoming, day in/day out. One of the best restaurants along 5th avenue. Food is just amazing, the service always friendly with a smile on the face, and especially during the dinner service always packed. The pizzas and lasagne are perfect! We stayed at the attached hotel (Unic Design Hotel). We enjoyed a fresh and light breakfast every day during our stay. Service was tremendous. We had spaghetti with meat and delicious. The house Chardonnay was very light and smooth I would recommend everyone to get. The table sitting was perfect they have tables that wrap around the corner. Very clean and priced fair. Also fresh shredded parmigiana.

My family and I came to eat breakfast here almost everyday and each dish was so authentic and delicious. We highly recommend to others for dinner as well, the pizza is unique and so tasteful. We were always welcomed with a smile each day, and Hugo, Uriel and Mario really took great care of us. Their food recommendations were great! We stepped off the resort and took a taxi to 5th Avenue - walked and shopped for miles and stopped at many restaurants.. this menu caught our eye "homemade pasta" and loved the whole atmosphere! White brick, terracotta tiles and stepped into a garden and went to the outside dining area. Great table overlooking the Avenue. Our waiters yes we had two, Ismael and Edgar. Attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu- the overall the service was a Ten! When we return to Playa del Carmen next year we will be going back again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is an Italian restaurant on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. We ordered to eat the gnocchi, a vegetarian pizza, and a seafood pasta. All were delicious. The service was really great too. They were very attentive when we wanted to order, offering drink recommendations, and removing plates in a timely manner. We decided to sit on the table right next to 5th and it started to rain. They had a big awning that went over us to keep us dry. What a great idea! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
