We recently dined at Kork & Barrell and overall had a pleasant experience. Despite the option to sit outside near the noisy street, we chose to sit inside by the window for a partial view. The server was prompt in taking our drink and food orders. I opted for the catch of the day, expecting a delicate dish, but was surprised by a hearty man-sized portion. Three sizable fish fillets atop a generous serving of oversized cauliflower, broccoli, carrot, and a scoop risotto. The fish was perfectly cooked, and I focused on savoring the delicious fish. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips, accompanied by a side salad with an oriental dressing which he found very good. Our friend ordered the combo pizza with a thin crust, and he seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. The service we received was outstanding, with our server being attentive and friendly throughout our entire meal. The interior atmosphere was peaceful since there weren't many patrons inside the restaurant/bar; most customers opted for outdoor seating. The place was busy but the servers were super onto it. Food came out fast and it was good. Prices are reasonable and the vibes are good. It's right on the waterfront, you can see boats at the port and the string of restaurants along the street gives it a cool summer vibe. The cocktails were ones I hadn't heard of and they were great. Great decision to stop here on way back from bike ride, fab place to enjoy drinks outside in the evening sun - Panhead Supercharger on tap highly recommended! also the brisket cheese loaded fries were excellent, and this section of West Quay has a nice vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

spot! We called in here just thinking to get a drink and some nibbles on a Sunday afternoon and we were absolutely blown away with everything about this place! The service was great and the recommendation of the watermelon daiquiri was amazing and we will definitely be back to enjoy this drink on a hot sunny day. The tapas menu all looked so delicious we got the scallops on pork belly, mussel pot, salt and pepper squid, the sliders (pork belly & brisket) and a kids fish and chips meal. There was so much food and it was all so delicious there wasn’t 1 dish that we weren’t happy with. Last night we went to celebrate our day, I must say the service was not acceptable and we have ordered some starter with our drinks but they didn’t serve starter. we ordered our main meal and they served after 35 mints not what I ordered.Return it and said I want stake medium well but they served same last one and presentation too ugly. we have to wait another 45 mints for my food. service was really bad. disappointed. We had the most amazing flavoursom meal last night. Hubby had steak with mushroom sauce and best he had for a long time. I had the chicken fettuccine which again was so full of flavor. People, being a first time visitor here I can only fully endorse the majority of the other reviews. With delicious food flavours & being very affordable good sized meals with a very extensive beverage menu, welcoming & friendly, efficient service this makes the venue a must visit. Added to this, the ideal, casual, peaceful location provides wonderful views over the marina especially at evening sunsets.
