It wasn't bad, but not so special. The pasta in the goulash was reheated sadly...maybe the goulash also. But the price is cheap I guess. I didn't like that the ownerstaff was smoking inside. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–15 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

This place is a must when visiting Niksic. We found this place via trip advisor and we're so happy we did! It's a hidden gem just off the main street close to the square in the town center. Worth noting we are English by the way! This restaurant has a rustic, authentic, traditional atmosphere with great service and delicious food! The waitress reccomended both dinner and wine options and shared great reccomendations for local places to visit! We will 100% be coming back before our trip ends! ✅ Great service ✅ Delicious freshly cooked food (I reccomend the trout, so fresh and the fish fell off the bone!) ✅ Amazing value for money ✅Niksic hidden gem! UPDATE: We visited for a second time and had salmon with stew veg and Gurmanska pljeskavica (gourmet burger, minced meat with bacon and cheese) which are both traditional dishes - and both delicious. The waitress Sonja (unsure of spelling) was again, fantastic and explained out how all their food is, where possible, sourced locally and organically from their farm and local fishermen and villages further north. You MUST visit this little hidden gem just off the main street, don't be alarmed by the underwelming alley way entrance, inside is beautiful and the food is the best we have discovered in the city! Hidden place into the block. Fluently English speaking lady (I think she is owner) shared all details about meals and provided great service. - Two fishes in portion (with garlic oil - awesome!) - two juicy pork steaks - pure fresh juice with water for mix it. (I saw it only first time) And prices were nice! Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

What an experience: kind, friendly service with great foods. The atmosphere can't be gotten anywhere else in Montenegro. This restaurant is worth visiting on your drive to or from Durmitor. This is a beautiful quiet restaurant tucked away from the main town square. The food was absolutely delicious and the hosts were so gracious! I highly recommend this place if you want some very good food at affordable prices and a great atmosphere. You'll be glad you went 🙂😋

Really tasty traditional Montenegrin food seasoned perfectly. The server/owner was so helpful explaining all the dishes and went out of her way to suit my dairy and gluten restrictions. The restaurant is located in a discrete and quiet passage, it was perfect for my mother who needed some calm after a long journey. The owner is a kind and generous man and his daughter was very gracious and helpful, she speaks an excellent English. In my opinion, it is the best place in town and I hope to be back there one day. The food was absolutely beautiful and at such a reasonable price. Sonja was incredibly nice and welcoming. While the restaurant is tucked away behind a side street it is absolutely worth trying to find and visit. Very homely and wholesome.
