Lovely little place serving authentic Slovenian street food. I tried the famous Slovenian sausage and sausage kranj stew. All the dishes tasted great and for very affordable prices. The lady servicing is very friendly and helpful with food recommendations. Place is small so go early if you want to sit inside as it has alot of visitors. The staff kindly explained the different Slovenian soups to me… and then five minutes later I heard her answer the exact same question for some more tourists. I imagine it must get tiring to answer the same question repeatedly, but she did it nicely! I tried the barely soup, which comes with bread. The bread was very good and the soup was filling, although a bit bland for my taste. Reasonable price and a good introduction to some local dishes. Elected the best street food place in Ljubljana by locals this is the best place to try local street food. Try a Slovenian called civček which may be a little sour but with the sausages is one of the best wines you will ever taste. Went there as a part of a food and wine tour and loved it. my choice was sausages with horseradish and mustard served along with freshly baked bun. I grabbed localy brewed IPA. A seat next to the window was free, which was the perfect location to the busy street. The food was delicious. I had the mixed štruklji (sweet) for 5,50€. Its a perfect portion and it tastes really well. The service was nice and fast. Its not a big place and there are not many seats inside to sit. Nice quality sausages and wine. I had a good red wine which was sour a little but if you eat it with the sausage in my pictures after a piece or two, the wine did not taste sour. Such a cool trick/tip from my tour guide. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
