Excellent seafood and even better service. I felt welcome like a personal guest in someone's home. I had crab and whole fish, and she even let me see the seafood in the refrigerator when I asked to inspect it for freshness. They also were serving calamari and prawns that day as well -- looked great. House and kitchen were very clean as well. Tables are outside in a comfortable, not hot setting, no insects.

Family owned restaurant in a green relaxed garden. The location was at the beach before but unfortunately they had to move.
We had delicious grilled prawns there!

Steam Prawns
Wow! What a Food experience! We came twice as Mali is the best cook we had in Sri Lanka. We tried the Lobster, Calamaris, Prawns, the curry and the vegetable rice. Everything was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend this place. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and amazing people! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

Best restaurant experience furing our Sri Lanka trip! Chef is amazing. I have never tasted such awesome seafood. Prices were very good. Large portions. Also the family is incredibly friendly. Great place on the beach with delicious local seafood. Lobster was amazing in very good price.
All food is fresh and tasty.
Delicious breakfasts are also served here. Delicious omelettes, amazing fruit plates, banana pancakes or traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts. You have to order them day before.
Delicious fresh seafood dinner of lobster and king prawns, the king prawns are a must try. Simple Family run Restaurant on the beach, they set up our table out closer to the waves and we also had a great sunset view
Place where You MUST come and eat! The owner is great person that welcome people and has a talent for cooking! That was the best sea food we have ever had! Jumbo prawn is the size of lobster! Calamari taste amazing.
And last but not least - location! You eat wonderful food keeping You feet in warm sand watching the ocean!
I was a bit sceptical of this "hidden gem" but found it an exceedingly good estabilishment with decent facilities and a lovely service. The lovely family there even offered us a tuk tuk ride to our place of stay, free of charge. Fate in humanity restored.😁

Very tasty food! Probably the best restaurant in the area.
After 2 weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka, I want to add that this is really the best restaurant on the whole island. I have never eaten tastier fish anywhere!
