The pies were ok, the lamington you could tell has been defrosted. The lady was very nice.
It doesn't deserve the other 5 star reviews unfortunately.

Delicious food every time, without fail:) This is the first bakery I've tried more than just one or two pies ( I loved all of them). So worth it!! Cooked breakfast is greatly portioned & fulling🤞 Awesome family run business and the most kind, helpful lady you'll meet!❣️
Absolutely beautiful food, can taste the Aroha in every bite, pies are great too i drive out from paihia to kerikeri just for their pies, today i had an eggs Benedict and it was lovely and my partner had their homemade pancakes which were beautiful and well present, easily some of the best food we've had up here
Simple, humble and nice.
This easy to find bakery, cafe, takeout with great coffees has limited kerb-side parking (but 300 spaces within 2 minutes walking distance) and playground with public toilets within 300m, slightly South of downtown Kerikeri.
Great range of scrumptious pies and pastries in addition to a short ala-carte menu. Fresh cakes and slices very reasonably priced. The hot drinks and cold drinks options are good too.
Always greeted with a smile and pleasant chat. Helpful, pleasant team members round out this pit stop - whether dining in, using an outside table or taking it away.
The owner is always happy and friendly everyrime we go in, food is basic bulk made bakery no frills food but ok for a limited budget if you have kids with fresh sandwiches, nice pies, sweets etc.
