Our recent visit to Kemal Kocak Et restaurant left us with mixed feelings. While we appreciated the food and service for the most part, we weren't particularly impressed, especially considering the prices. The restaurant had its share of shortcomings that were hard to overlook. To start with, the appetizers were rather underwhelming. However, Hummus stood out as a good choice. One disappointment was the complimentary bread, which was served cold instead of hot as we had expected. Among the appetizers we ordered, the "Findik Lahmacun" was a standout and quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, the servers forgot to bring the "İçli Köfte" we had ordered, and by the time the entrees arrived, we didn't insist on trying it anymore. The "Gavurdağ" salad and garden salad were both delicious additions to the table. Moving on to the main courses, we found them to be quite enjoyable overall. The "Kuzu New York" was our favorite dish, and we highly recommend it. Personally, I had ordered the "Lokum" based on the waiter's suggestion, but I had asked for it to be well-cooked. In hindsight, I wished I had ordered it medium, as it turned out fine, but not something I would order again. It's best to avoid ordering it alone or pair it with some appetizers if you're hungry. The "Karışık Izgara" (mixed grill) was the second-best dish we tried, and I recommend it, especially if you have a hearty appetite. We also ordered the "Iskender," which looked appetizing, and the person who had it found it to be delicious. For the kids, we ordered the "Kuzu Pirzola," which they loved. It may be somewhat small for an adult, but it was perfect for the children. Unfortunately, the sides that accompanied the main courses were lackluster. As for dessert, we tried the "Gaziantep Simit" and "Ekmek Kadayif," both of which were good. The "Gaziantep Simit" came with ice cream, and although it wasn't the best ice cream we've had, the kids enjoyed it. The service at Kemal Kocak Et restaurant had its ups and downs. Our waiter was attentive, and we never had difficulty asking for assistance. They made efforts to accommodate us well. However, when I asked for suggestions regarding the menu, the waiter wasn't very informative and simply recited all the items. I also requested a menu with pictures, but unfortunately, it wasn't available, neither on their website nor in the restaurant itself. One thing that bothered me was the haste of the service. The waitstaff's helpers were overly eager to clear the dishes from our table. At one point, while I was still talking, someone picked up my main course, even though I hadn't finished the sides. It felt as though they wanted us to leave the restaurant as soon as possible, despite half of the restaurant being empty. Additionally, the waiter who served us throughout our meal didn't come to take the bill. Instead, another server, who wasn't very polite, arrived with a POS machine, resulting in a lower tip. Coming from the U.S., where a 20% tip is customary, we left a tip of around 6-7% for our large group, which seemed to pleasantly surprise the staff. I would suggest that a 5% tip is generally acceptable here, but your mileage may vary. On a positive note, the restrooms were clean and well-maintained. It's worth noting that the restaurant lacks a dedicated parking space, and we didn't see any valet service either (perhaps there is another entrance). We ended up parking a few blocks away and walking to the restaurant. Overall, our experience at Kemal Kocak Et restaurant had its highlights, such as the tasty main courses and some appetizers, as well as friendly service. However, the shortcomings in the appetizers, service, and side dishes left us feeling less than impressed, particularly considering the prices. If you're in the area and looking for a decent meal, you might give it a try, but don't expect a truly exceptional dining experience. Food was delicious, waiters were very professional and kind. Very clean and pleasent environment. Very attentive waiters. I can recommend the Dalas Steak, by far the best steak i have eaten. For breakfast the Menemen is getting the crown. Clean Toilets with a nice smell. 11/10 would visit again! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ₺200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Delicious homemade breads alongside well-made meat and meatballs. The service was alright, though the entire staff was very welcoming. Try the burgers if you feel so 🍔
