Great Japanese themed bar but very limited space inside. Seating for 10, the rest stands. But awesome vibe and music (hip hop)!
Drinks 8/10
Can highly recommend their signature espresso martini. One of the best in Houston!
Other cocktails are solid.
Service 7.5/10

Awesome place for drinks and snacks while you’re out or while you wait for your reservation at Handos. They make great tasting drinks and have appetizers available from next door. Bartenders were great. A little small with the amount of space and seats available but reminds me of bars in Japan. Would definitely recommend to a visit to anyone. Bar entrance is located through the restaurant.

Such a cool spot, we walked down from Best Regards. Thought it was closed at first but the staff welcomed us in and the drinks were amazing. Super cool speakeasy vibes and we got fries too which were sooo good as a late night snack!! Definitely recommend

Definitely my top 2 bars in town for cocktails. I used to go to Montrose for cocktails but this place is closer to me now. The place is a little small but I like it cuz it's cozy and perfect for going there just by myself, or maybe with another friend or two, to chill and enjoy the drinks.
Everything on their menu that I tried was great. However you should try something not on the menu too. On my last visit, I asked the bartender to surprise me with something herbal, tart and strong for my last drink of the night. She made me a Last Word, which was not on the menu, and it was perfect.

Keriah was very attentive and a great bartender. Nice, courteous, and welcoming! Also made a killer Asian margarita! Stay awesome! Didn’t get to try the food.. maybe next time.

This place is excellent. All the drinks we had were from very good to excellent.
The service is great and the ambience is incredible.

Great little spot on the opposite side of Hando Sushi. I gave it three stars because while the cocktails are unique and adventurous they just didn't hit the taste mark for me. They serve happy hour and late night bites. The happy hour bites we're very good. I'd certainly go back for a drink and bites.

With a hidden entrance from Hando, this small speakeasy-esque bar with one bartender somehow manages to provide more efficient, friendly, and served better drinks than a certain other nationally recognized bar in Houston. I didn't catch this bartender's name, but he's phenomenal.
Happy hour small plates were delicious. The wasabi shumai wasn't my favorite, but I'm not a wasabi fan - my friends loved it (4pc, $5). The geso karaage was served with a delicious sauce. Drinks were well prepared and incredibly priced during happy hour. I'd say the lychee drink stole the show, but the Tokyo Layover just gave me the right kind of smokey airport vibes.
