It's the best place to taste local foods and tea if you're going or on the way back from Nuwara Eliya. I'm stopping there every time I take that route. You should try it. Highly recommend. 👌

Great place for HOT HOT Pol Roti and Hakuru+Kahata on your way to Nuwaraeliya via Ginigathhena. Nicely decorated with artworks made from coconut ropes. Friendly service. But prices are not fare. Similar to Colombo.
This traditional looking place for eat coconut rotti and drink plain tea while traveling to Hatton. The nai miris sambola was so spicy and you can easily beat cold weather get your body in to normal tempreture. Also should metion the kitul hakuru (Jaggery) they provided with plain tea was simply amazing, the best I had in my life. The staff member are active and provide what you order proactively. Wide range of food items are available.Highly recommended.

Great taste and great atmosphere...!
Beautiful Coconut tree based hand crafts are aslo available for purchasing.
Singing of Susantha Ayya is the most facinating experience..!
Absolutely love this place...! ❤❤❤
Road side shop near ginigathena town. Short eats & tea available. Though small place the ambience is good. If you're a regular visitor of this road this could be good stop for you all. Others also will enjoy this experience. Fondly know by few as "aachi kade".
