Been coming to SXM for years. Food is good, workers are rude. They will make fun of their customers right in front of them. Have seen this multiple times with multiple customers. Check recent reviews. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Got tricked by the old positive reviews in the past. Lady staff is extremely rude and lazy. She seems to forget customers are her boss’ boss. She talks like the customers are stupid when being asked to clarify the menu to help w/ ordering. She also talks like customers are bothering her by visiting the shop. I have an impression that she keeps some of the money when customers pay by cash. Wanted to just walk away but decided to order. Pastry was just Ok. She didn’t want to warm it up for us. Drink was ok, but this is totally what we didn’t expect when we walked into a French pastry. Recommendation - hire someone more friendly, energetic, and customer focus asap before you need to shut down the shop. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

No one available to make sandwiches. Iced drink was not done well. Bread pudding was good. Wish it was warmed up.

I found this gem of a French bakery after dining at the other night at La Brasserie Cupecoy which was just a few steps from Jules Bakery. In all the years I’ve been coming to St. Maarten I traveled to Simpson Bay to La Sucriere which is a great bakery although it’s a longer drive. Now that I found Jules Bakery I won’t be taken that drove as often to Simpson Bay. This may be a little hard to find although it’s a great spot. I came here around 8 am and they were busy so get here early if you want the best selection. There were two employees that were behind the counter who did an awesome job greeting the customers and serving them quickly. You can dine in or take out. They have a wide variety of items and coffees seemed to be extremely popular. They offer fresh squeezed juices, sandwiches, donuts, all kind of pastries, quiche, and fresh baked regular and cereal French bread. I saw a bread slicer to they probably offer larger loafs as well. This is a very popular spot especially with the medical school nearby. Prices were inexpensive on the whole, great quality and the place was very clean. There’s ample seating and o apologize that I was so excited to try them, everyone had eaten a number of the deserts in the two boxes that I was only to take one shot of my food. LOL. I would highly recommend them, and now that I know they’re less than 10 minutes away, I will visit them several times a week on my stay.

We went there once for lunch and once for breakfast. Great selection, everything delicious and very nice staff. The baked goods all look great and taste great. There is also a selection of salads and warm baguettes.

They advertise as a bakery. There were a few items for sale. Disappointed.
