Very friendly staff.
Steak and mushroom pie. One of the best pastries in palmy. Tender and good texture. Good amount of meat, not stuffed full of mince. Gravy had a heavy flour taste. Few mushrooms. For $4.50 it's a good solid pie that should leave the majority of people happy

My favourite pie is located here.
Also, there giant chicken sandwiches in thick white bread are awesome in value.
I haven't tried anything else because I can never leave without a pie or the sandwich.

Really good coffee and those thick white bread chicken sandwiches are the best! Other sandwiches are nice too. Smiley, polite and friendly service👍

This little home cookery is a real find. I love potato top pies, and they do perhaps the best Potato Top pie in Palmy at least. Their lamingtons and Sally Lunns are also beautiful - always fresh, with heaps of real cream. My husband loves their mince and cheese pies.... we always try and call in when we're in the area for a real treat. Staff are very friendly, polite and provide service with a smile. Highly recommend.

My sandwich was really nice but was $6 so l had paid a premium. The apricot pie was mediocre , didn't see any apricots as such , just a jam syrup.
Most disappointing was the neeish tart. Not the normal filling just a lump of some sort of icing mixture. Very sweet but tasteless and very disappointing. I couldn't eat it , threw it away. Would go back for sandwiches but not for anything else !

Ive been to all bakeries in palmy lived here my whole life, and I have never had a Mince n cheese pie that pastry was so soft and delicious definitely coming back,the Sally Luns are the best sally luns they use real cream blows any other bakeries in palmy away
