Roasted Chicken
Roadside stand with a clear local following. The fried crab was the best seasoned crab I've ever tasted. I grew up with crab boils and marinated cracked crab but I've never had it fried and it was worth the wait for them to do it up fresh. Rice and peas were also spot on. Johnny Cakes were new to us....a lot like a sopapilla if you've ever been to New Mexico. The ribs had great flavor but were a little dry for our taste.
They accepted cc and were open late which was a plus.

We first found Jimmy’s in 2023 and have just returned again from SXM.
This is a MUST GO to place if you want to enjoy the BEST RIBS on the Island of Saint Martin. Must say the wings are also great. In fact, have never had anything there I did not like. The rice, mac and cheese, and salads are great accompaniments to the meal. Have now been there at least 6 times and would never go to the island without at least one visit.
They also do take-out and this visit brought racks of ribs home for the kids!
Francois and the entire crew make it such an enjoyable experience and thanks to you Francois and all the gang – we will be back.

What a jewel on St. Maarten! So friendly. Proprietor on site and incredibly helpful and welcoming. And the food...!!! Ribs are so good we ended up ordering 2 pounds to take back to our rental for the next day. Yeah...that good. Amd not to be outdone....the roasted chicken is amazing.
The sides are incredible also. Something as simple as slaw and mac-cheese and beans/rice made our group moan with joy. (Not kidding)
Only drawback is it is located by a busy road. Bit plus that it enjoys ample parking.

Me quedé con ganas de las costillas qué no había ése día pero el pollo está excelente, el Mac and cheese también, mucha gente pide para llevar pero si el sol no está fuerte comer ahí al aire libre es cómodo.
