Buiten was het grijs, binnen in de theeceremonie-ruimte was een heel andere wereld: kalm, gastvrij, aandachtig en sfeervol. De rituele manier waarop alle handelingen werden uitgevoerd waren van een grote schoonheid. Daarnaast heldere uitleg en veel ruimte voor vragen. De Japanse theeceremonie bij Alexander was een mooie en leerzame ervaring die absoluut proeft naar meer.

De theeceremonie was een fantastische ervaring. Alexander legt het heel goed uit en het is bijzonder om dit van dichtbij mee te maken. We hadden een uitermate rustgevend maar toch verkwikkkend uur. Ook de smaak van de thee zelf is zeer bijzonder! Het contrast tussen druk Buitenveldert en de Japanse ruimte kan niet groter. Mooi hoe je ineens in een andere wereld stapt.

I gifted the tea ceremony to my boyfriend for his birthday and it was an amazing experience to share with him. Alexander is a great host and made us feel welcome from the beginning. It was a pleasure to listen to him and follow him in the tea ceremony. It was a great experience learning from him and being able to ask him all of our tea ceremony curiosities. The atmosphere was very relaxing and authentic, we forgot to be in Amsterdam for 60 minutes and we fully immersed ourselves in the Japanese tea culture.
