Excellent coffee. Tied with maybe two or three other places I've had a latte in all Japan. Perfect microfoam, and the milk was also delicious. Unlike in most cafes, as lots of milk in Japan tastes like UHT for some reason. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Great coffee! Also they have nice oat milk which is a rarity in Japan! A short walk from the ferry departure terminal and up the stairs. Lovely spot. Service Dine in
Great coffee with steamed milk (been rare so far in japan)! Oat milk available and a variety of vegan snacks 😋

The best Americano I have had during our 3-week Japan trip. Perfect espresso and you get a can of hot water to dose your Americano to perfection. Thanks for this unexpected post-hike delight before taking the ferry back to Kagoshima.

Kind of a strange location for a specialty coffee place, because it is a bit far from the city centre. But, to be honest, as a former coffee maker, this was the best cappuccino (flat white) I had in Japan. The milk was silky and smooth and the beans were medium roasted. Perfect!
A quaint coffee shop located on the second floor of the port. Amazing atmosphere and the coffee to match! They roast their own beans and have a coffee feature every day. Highly recommend taking the time to sit, take a look at the shop and enjoy your coffee (there’s a ¥50 charge for takeaway cups)
Located at the port where the ferries arrive you can find a very good hand dripped coffee and iced latte. Unfortunately, they don’t offer an espresso. Smooth music, bright shop facing the sea and a little shop with souvenirs. Definitely a place to grab a coffee or sit down while waiting at the ferry.

Wow! What a surprise to find such a charming coffee roaster in the second floor of the ferry building! Superb coffee and biscuits, local craft beers and chocolates, a little shop of curated local crafts. You would never find it without a recommendation.
Located on the second floor and facing the sea, issou coffee roasters is a good place for specialty coffee lovers. Their drip coffee and the cafe latte are tasty! Great place while waiting the ferry.
Hidden gem, amazing coffee - one of the best coffees I had in Japan. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
