The restaurant belongs to the hotel Pescadores Sea View but is accessible for everybody. The menu includes rice toppings with different kind of meat but it also has a few vegetarian and vegan options and many of the meals are served with an ice tea and a soup as a menu. The atmosphere is quite good and the price is reasonable. Moreover the waitress was nice and the dinner didn't take long to be ready.
Absolutely a fantastic dinner experience! It’s been many years since we’ve had authentic Chinese scallion pancakes (called Green Onion Tortillas here). Delicious .... and only 100 peso! We also had excellent Japanese vegetable udon soup and corn dumpling soup. The dumpling soup tasted exactly like the soup dumplings we’ve had many times in Beijing. For dessert, 50 peso gets you three scoops of great ice cream. A fantastic meal and a nice change from Filipino, Italian and American cuisine. Service couldn’t have been better —- prompt and very friendly. We give Island Wok the highest recommendations! 😀😀
After one week of excellent food in different restaurants here, this was the first real disappointment. We were here with a party of 9 and ALL of us were really unhappy with the food and service. The curries tasted like from the can. The fries were awful. Teriaki without sauce. Miso soup with suspicious fishy content, and I could go on...
We where hosted in the hotel, so we had the chance to eat there couple of times. They offer free ice tea, with is great. And the dumplings are the best!
Basically a nice place to have lunch or dinner in Pescadores. They offer ice tea for free, wich is nice, the food is good and big portions. Also the staff is really nice. Reccomended!
