Food was delicious, specially the whole grilled fish and fried rice. Food had a great taste and was really fresh and clean! The owner was super friendly and let us use the beach chairs for free. The best chicken kebab in Tangalle! It was very delicious! We had couple of cocktails too for a very reasonable price which was appetising as well! Atmosphere is very cozy and the sea view is magnificent! If you want to chill and read a book they do provide sun beds which is free charge. 1st customer. Had to wait 1 1/2 hour for 2 vegetarian rice and curry, spring rolls and creamy pasta. Everytime we asked if the food was on the way we got ”ready in 5 minutes”. Food was ok but not great. Good location but service needs to be improved. We was told the curry was going to take a while, but hey 90 minutes?! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Ordered three pizzas from here and after about an hour, two of the three arrived. One of which was stone cold and we returned it. The server explained that they only have one small oven but surely they could have brought the pizzas out to us as they were ready as it was clear our group intended to share them. The third pizza arrived about 10mins later. The server tried to return the cold pizza after heating it up but we rejected it again. The pizza was some of the worst I have had, it tasted like cheap supermarket microwave pizza with a strange sponge like texture. The cheese was not melted and the pizza had a strange taste. However the restaurant is in a nice spot on the beach so at least we were waiting in a good location. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

We stayed at the Guesthouse belonging to the Restaurant and had several meals and Drinks. Cocktails are surprisingly good, also at next door place. The fish & King prawns was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Prices absolutely okay. At the guesthouse we had a discussion about the price, because the price named to us for several days was suddenly to be paid per day. We were very clear when negotiating the price before moving in but apperently Not clear enough, be careful. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

THE BEST RESTAURANT on the beach in Tangalle! Food is spectacular and prices are more reasonable than anything around. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Nice place, in front of the sea. Good food at a fair price, may be the only restaurant with no taxes extra on the beach side, friendly and kind staff. Ps. you don’t have to be in a rush :) Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Dinner was spectacular! Fresh octopus and kabobs- topped off with cold beer and an arrack. Beautiful view, and possibly that was a whale out there off shore in the surf!
