I had a Kluts sandwich (eggs with mushrooms sandwich) and it was enjoyable. However, the staff couldn't understand my request for the espresso macchiato and got me a latte instead instead :) Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely little place in the middle of nowhere, very popular with hobby bikers and the regular joes like us who show up for a beer and some snacks after buying a new bike and decided to put it to the test by biking outside of the city limits and stop for some beer and bitterballen. It’s a cute terras that has a lot of places to sit but unfortunately there are a lot of mosquitoes 🦟🦟🦟 that will float around your drink and any part of exposed skin you have. Sitting in the terrace means that it’s a self service type of deal where you get to relive your days working in horeca with your tray and your party’s orders. The good thing about it being a self service terrace in the middle of the woods is that everyone tends to stick to themselves; the place was rather busy but there weren’t much people directly around us or staff checking in on us, so we had all the freedom and privacy to talk about whatever without any worries about the people around us. There’s a nice beer menu but there are no prices on it. We got 2 rounds of beers and snacks adding up to 16ish each. Pretty decent pricing if you go tikkie wise. When ordering our second snack we were told the kitchen was closed, but the dame helping me came back with the wonderful news that we could still get a worsten broodje. It was delicious. There are enough places to sit outside, plenty of choice of drinks and we had some yummy chips in a “puntzak” with mayo/ ketchup on the side. Defo a place to visit again as the choice of food is wide and the location great after a nice walk through the woods.

One of Eindhoven's surrounding gems. The atmosphere here is really nice to come chill with some friends and have a few beers in the middle of nature. The asian fries were tasty with a big portion and beers are rnormally priced in my opinion. Will definitely be back again soon. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person €20–30

Nice and friendly personnel, but rather outdated restaurant. Okay for just a beer or tea after a walk, but low standards for food and no gluten free alternatives available. It is a nice place in the forest next to walking and cycling roots. The menu and atmosphere were average. I had the apple pie which was nothing special and clearly a pre made one that came out of a freezer, or other cooling. Still it tasted ok. All and all it's a nice stop on your route.
