I stayed in a single room for 2 nights. The room was clean, basic but modern. There is pretty good wifi, which can drop but when it works, it works perfectly for streaming. The only fault with the room was I found the mattress to be very soft. It sunk when I lay on it and it left me with a stiff back and neck each morning.||Breakfast was in the restaurant below the guest rooms and of the continental variety. Plenty of cereals, meats, pastries etc to choose from.||The staff were friendly when I saw them. However I don't speak French and they spoke very little English, we had to communicate as best we could with a few basic words.||The property is a 5-10 min walk into Esch town centre and I walked there and back to the train with my suitcase. Don't bother with a taxi, if you can manage it.||It's very convenient for the Kulturfabrik venue, which is right across the road. ||

We were two on a business trip. Thanks to Sergio for his great hospitality and responsiveness. He treated us as his personal guests. We arrived in his rest day, but he was there to meet and accommodate us. Nice looking rooms, each decorated in an individual style. Genuine paintings on the walls in the corridors and the rooms. All facilities were clean and shiny and we enjoyed Wi-Fi in our rooms. The restaurant serves excellent Italian food. You must try the pizza. The morning coffee, a genuine espresso, and fresh orange juice gave me the best start for my business day.

Stayed for 2 nights during the weekend as we visited a concert of 'Sons Of Apollo' in the 'Kulturfabrik' just across the road of this real nice hotel. We had a cozy and clean room with enough space. Good bed and bathroom. Just all we need! ||Sergio is a great host and the food in the Italian restaurant is excellent! ||WiFi worked okay for the phones, only on our tablet it was not good. So that could be better. But did not effect our enjoyment of staying here. Would certainly go here again when we are in the neighborhood.

This isn't the best kept up hotel in town (peeling wallpaper, no extra rolls of toilet paper) but the beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. If you are coming on a Sunday, beware as almost nothing nearby is open

This is a great little inn with a few rooms above the owner's passion - the restaurant. Our room was large with a great king bed, huge bathroom and TV (billed as a suite). Very comfortable and modern. The other rooms are smaller but also comfortable and modern with better bathroom amenities than normal for small hotels in Europe. There is nothing to write home about in terms of views and location...its on the main road into Esch about a 10 minute walk into the pedestrianized town centre. Parking is limited as is the breakfast. But the restaurant is delectable with a great chef and nice welcoming ambiance. We visited the other hotels in this area, the Acacia has a traditional old style ambiance which has some charm, but this is the best in the region.

All right! This is not a hotel; it is a restaurant which has rooms. But believe me, it is much better than most of the expensive hotels around in the region. Rooms are pretty spacious and so are the beds, the one in mine could accommodate a small family easily. I had very gratifying sleep as rooms were peaceful and cozy. Bathrooms were also bigger, unlike other European hotels, with all modern amenities. Located at 15 minutes walk, away from city center on the main street it is ideal for all types of visitors. Staff is very pleasing and cooperative. Food at the restaurant was incomparable, very delicious and very well served. Within economical range this place is wonderful to stay, make bookings in advance as it just has 6 rooms.

If you want to be served like being given a dog food, this is the place to go! We live literally next door and these were what we picked up from the restaurant Such disrespectful service - never buying from this place again

Nice hotel, cosy rooms.||||Rooms:||This hotel does only have 6 rooms. Every room is personalized and looks different (other interior). Our room was in the frontside of the hotel (room 4) and equiped with a double bed. The room was pretty big (I do think this one is a little bigger than the other rooms at the frontside of the hotel (comparing windows)). The room was well equiped, but a simple hook for hanging our clothes/coats was missing. The room did have AC, but the remote control was missing (not necessary because of the weather tough). ||||Restaurant:||The restaurant has a really great interior, the breakfast is served in the restaurant. Because of the small amount of rooms the breakfast is served and so there isn't a buffet. Altough the lack of a breakfast buffet the breakfast which is served is good. We did had a dinner in the hotel, the dinner as the prices where good.||||Reception & staff:||Very friendly, staff. Actually there isn't a reception, it's a hotel with 6 guestrooms. Checkin and out hapens at the bar. Actually this isn't a problem at all. The staff was very friendly and did there upmost best to serve the guests (above average). ||||Location of the hotel:||The hotel is located near the centre. +/- 15-20 minute walk to the centre. There is parking space in front of the hotel but you do have to pay monday - saterday (2 hours maximum). There is one parkingspace direct in front of the hotel (free). The owner of the hotel is very willing to park her car at street so a guest can park directly in front of the hotel. Free parkingspace can be found in surrounding streets near the hotel.
