Don’t eat here you will be disappointed if you are expecting some kind of decent service.
The servers are not attentive and the food took 2.5 hours (maybe even more?), we had to walk out of the restaurant without eating because it never came and there was no communication. Next time be honest about how long food could take from ordering it, or the least you could do while we are waiting for our food is to ask do you want anything else to drink or any apetizer. Btw our apetizers took 1.5 hour to come out. Come on whoever owns this restaurant needs to do better because I have been here twice now and both times I have been extremely disappointed

The cuisines taste as beautiful as the name Heritage. The place is wheelchair friendly, spotlessly cleaned with amazing breeze at the outside seating area. And it's located near Fajara beach which just 3-5 minutes walk to the Atlantic Ocean. The first time I visited I had Bruschetta which was an amazing flavor and I don't even how to explain the experience because of good it was then the chicken wings which was perfect combination of sweet and sour, Grilled Red Snapper with dill & lemon herb butter it was insanely good with almost no bones and the lemon taste gave amazing appetite to enjoy this main course. For dessert I had Swedish Apple Pie and Chocolate Gratinated Banana and shared with my boss we loved both but the chocolate inside the banana was just the best. The Sunday brunch buffet is always fantastic from just D500 for adults (per person) and D270 children and starts at 12:00 midday to 3:30 p.m. the usual choices is always satisfying. I had beans & gravy, chicken skewers, sausage, minced meat skewers, baker egg plant, frittata and Waffles with berries & syrup.
The oxtail soup from the brunch was the best!!! I had this so much that I could barely move from my seat and the service is always great.
We had the best baobab and wonjo mix ever, the server Pa Dodou was amazing and the waitstaff were super nice, however the meal went downhill from there.
The starters we chose were meatpie, shrimp cakes, and halloumi salad. They were out of the meatpie so we swapped it for the shrimp cakes. We were disappointed to recieve the shrimp cakes that appeared to be egg, cheese and shrimp fried into pancakes. I guess it was just that we expected a traditional shrimp cakes. The halloumi was over cooked to the extent that parts of it was inedible. Also the chicken suffered the same. It was dry and leather like. The burger was tall and the produce was nice, however the bread was thicker than the burger and the bread to burger ratio was too much.
We hope that the Sunday brunch is better and we will definately come try that.
