This place truly captures the essence of srilankan traditional cuisine. From the moment I stepped inside, it gave me a feel of healthy meals. The menu featured a wide variety of traditional dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
A wide variety of local food at very reasonable prices. Excellent value for money. A great initiative by the Department of Agriculture. Parking available on the roadside. Ample seating space. There's a toilet but not super clean, which is as expected. There's a shop to buy fresh fruits and soursop juice. A very useful stopover along the Nuwara Eliya road. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes String Hoppers
Authentic and (importantly) clean Sri Lankan food for decent prices unlike most restaurants in Nuwara Eliya. Unfortunately, you won’t find any non-veg options here, but if you’re okay with that definitely a place to have a decent meal. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person Rs 500–1,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Famished from our hike of ramboda falls. We were so happy to see this food stall just a few minutes away from ramboda falls. We got to know from our driver that these pocket friendly stalls run by d department of agriculture helps women empowerment. Basically different cooks have 2 to 3 items freshly made right there by them on sale. Fresh food which was yummy and so reasonable. We saw no compromise on quality. Stalls were neat n clean. Everything was being prepared in a hygienic atmosphere. We came across Hela Bojun stalls in Nuwara Eliya too. A great option for us vegetarians especially.
A good place to take short eats while you are travelling to Nuwara Eliya. Prices are also fair. There were 36 different traditional food varieties offered by them when I was visited in March 2022.
One of the best places to have a good meal on the way to Nuwara Eliya. This place is special since it offers traditional Sri Lankan food. The food quality is certified by the Agriculture department. The prices are very reasonable. There's enough parking space available. Highly recommended
Amazing flavours and amazing prices. Open food court offering string hoppers, roti, pittu and many other traditional sri lankan fare. Plus you can get passion fruit or mango juice. This food court unfortunately does not have idli though. If it did I would have given it 5 stars. The staff is super friendly and will offer you free sambar if so requested. Please see pics. The place also has a washroom.
Good and clean place. Excellent service. Good food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
