Wonderful little cafe. Greeted by a nice smile. Plenty of seating in the back and lots of options for eat and drink. Visiting from overseas and had an issue with our payment method. The workers were very gracious and kind.

I would easily give this little cafe a 10 out of 5 rating if I could. Their double shot flat white is absolutely perfect, and that alone would be worth 5 stars. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. As an international traveler, I only had my credit card as a payment method, and though the cafe only had EFTPOS and not credit support, the staff insisted on giving me the coffee for free rather than letting me leave empty-handed. This act of kindness speaks volumes about their passion and pride in their work, and their genuine care for their customers. I cannot recommend this cafe enough!

The staff at Haumoana are incredible. We stopped for coffees and only after ordering discovered our cards weren’t working (we are visiting New Zealand). After apologizing and starting to leave the staff insisted on making them for us anyway. Kindness we weren’t expecting and didn’t deserve. The coffees themselves and the charming premises were also perfect. Great coffee, wonderful people.

Loved this little place which I suspect is frequented a lot by locals. Cool vibe with people's art for sale along the walls. Nice little kids' area too.
