LOVE the shopping experience. Package free <3
coffee was relatively good.
I've been to a few package free shops and have to say the prices here a very affordable.
It would be nice to have a basket next to the front door where customers can donate and take their own containers. That would tempt me and probably others to purchase more things that weren't on the shopping list. And people who drop by spontaneously could pick something up as well with something other than the paper bags.

THE. BEST. PLACE.
--> a staff was helping a mom find good food to cook and buy for her daughter, who just recently turned vegan. 10/10 vibes and support and patience and finding awesome stuff in a happy way. need help? they got you.
--> one of the best mochas I've ever had (had it as oat milk, single shot). their cafe is great, seating areas are really nice. great for solo hangs, friend hangs, getting some work done (don't think they have wifi, not sure though), or casual date.
--> dope sandwiches with a nice selection across vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, and meat
--> everything was so easy to understand
--> so cheap!! I spent $30 and got a sandwich, coffee, cereal, soap, shampoo, and conditioner
--> whole lil area for ecostore soaps, hair care, etc, including bottles you can fill to whatever amount you want (save on shipping AND plastic AND get the amount and type you actually want)
--> lil paper baggies for whatever flour, sugar, cereal, nuts, granola, oats, etc, you're buying (and a huge array of each)
--> really nice mix of vegan, dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, meat, non-meat, and various other allergens and eco needs. you can get exactly what you're looking for and need, you know?
--> I've never felt more comfortable and happy in a wholesale/vegan space. incredible people, food, music, options, and eco options.
--> I'm PRETTY sure these aisles are wide enough for wheelchairs, but someone will have to check, sorry :)
--> I didn't get sensory, choice, or emotionally overwhelmed and these kinds of places are often terrible for that.
100/10
Really good service. Order arrived basically in a day give or take a couple hours. My order was quite finicky and detailed but they still had that out the door mad quick. Also! This is just one example of many! Did a price comparison and at their store you can get 50g of oregano hebs for $1.95 and at countdown they want $5.50 for 5grams! The supermarkets should be ashamed of themselves! Shame on them!!
I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves one.
I've been travelling to Nelson for work over the past couple of months. This has been my favourite place to get lunch! The food is delicious, the coffee is great and the staff are friendly.
I'm not travelling for work anymore, I will miss this place! If I'm ever in Nelson for a holiday, I'll be sure to stop by again. Thank you!
Love this store! Products are fresh, neat, clean and there's often something new and interesting. The owners are lovely, and my two children love it and often get given a carob treat by the owner, which is cool. Have just started getting my own freshly ground peanut butter, and will add fresh honey to the mix this week too. LOVE it!!!
Love this shop with wonderful owners, staff and products. I come here to reduce the amount of rubbish I produce by bringing my own containers. They have lots of choices, organics, local products and nice atmosphere. There is also a cafe and the food and drinks smell delicious, although haven't tried anything yet. Ever expanding products, I noticed frozen berries today so now can also buy these plastic free. I can nearly avoid the supermarket and get all my groceries from here and the vege shop next door.
Amazing store for shopping waste free, bring your own bags and containers and fill up! They really have everything, from bulk teas, spices, pulses, grains, oils, honey etc and also yummy cafe food. Recommended!
