Wish we stayed closer to this market! We bought some cool stuff (ex dragonfruit powder) that we didn’t see in other larger supermarkets. They have an extensive selection of fruits, nuts, condiments, vegetables, etc. they also have healthy snacks like cacao obleas and sugar free ice popsicles. Also, there wine selection looks great.
So grateful this place is open late. They sell activated charcoal for food poisoning and they have saved me a world of trouble twice when staying in Tulum.
Prices are a little high and maybe not the best selection but definitely a good store for the location.
The cafe is SO good! Being someone who is gluten free and dairy free, I can’t believe I could eat a wood fired pizza that was incredible. Everything was so fresh, including the fun cocktails. Our server, Carla, was very sweet and helpful. Can’t wait to come back on our next visit to Tulum.
We came here on our first full day in Tulum. We bought a full breakfast package ahead of time for three of us.
Absolutely fantastic. I wish we ate slower cause I felt like we rushed the experience. Everything was so fresh and delicious. From coffee to the beans. (I know right?).
Great service, we were never rushed (we just ate fast). Didn’t get a chance to see what else is on the menu, but we had coffee, orange juice, fruit platter, pastry, parfait, and eggs/beans/salad. Good stuff!
They take your temperature and give you hand sanitizer each time you enter. Great selection of food. The cafe is nice, love eating there. Nice little swings and cute lights. Good plastic free options to choose from and frozen vegan food!
I went here for dinner two nights ago. They didn't have their full menu available yet since they just opened, but their menu looked really good! Lots of gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. And the drink menu looked really good too with healthy additions like activated charcoal!
They have all of their pizzas available and gluten free with vegan options. Plus they're wood fired which made the crust crispy and extra tasty. I got the four cheese pizza with peppers. It was a pretty good size too. My husband got the chicken burger. Both were yummy!! I liked the ambiance of the place. Several of the tables had swings for chairs which is where we sat. There's something about swinging while eating that just makes me feel like a kid again:)
The actual market part of Gypsea Market was nice too. It's all designed really well with nice aesthetics inside and out. They don't have the shelves filled yet, but there's some nice products like local produce, juices, vegan milks and cheeses, gluten free products, some natural body care, protein bars... Overall really cool place!
Very cute little organic store. They have some grains and vegetables in bulk and some good buffalo meat in the fridges at the back. They have keto options. And a fridge with some prepared food such as quinoa and sandwiches and cakes.
Their morning pastries are really yummy!
We got scammed here. We made a big purchase and along those items one employee added without us noticing a very expensive bottle of wine we did not buy for around 100 USD.
Be careful when you shop here.
At the owners: I will issue an chargeback for the fraud your employees committed.
Great selection of products. Wish they expanded on butters and cheeses and deli products. Com early if you want fresh bread and pastries.
The prices are exactly what you’d get on these type of products in the US and I feel that people just expect to get them cheaper because it’s Mexico. It’s also the same pricing I found in Playa del Carmen and Ciudad de Mexico. These are organic and vegan/ vegetarian products, if you just want some veggies and juices there are of course cheaper places in Tulum.
