New chef came out personally to bring us our food. I ordered the croissant with the spinach and mushroom scramble. The croissant was perfectly flakey, buttery, crispy, and the eggs were perfectly soft and fluffy with a generous helping of spinach and mushrooms. Excellent and generous sized latte. All of the staff were lovely, funny and perfectly attentive. Eclectic, fun, vintage decor with plentiful seating for everyone. 10/10 would recommend! Nice little breakfast while I was waiting for my car to have a warrant done. Eggs perfectly poached and beautifully runny, even with a bit of soft white. Ciabatta toast with a generous pat of butter. Beautiful bacon and tomato. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We were looking for an easy breakfast spot, near our hotel and so glad we came across this place. I had the Veggie Breakfast and it was so delicious. So much flavour and my favourite breakfast in New Zealand so far. Highly recommend it. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

I go to this cafe quite often and have never been disappointed. Today I got the fruit pancakes which were absolutely delicious. The service is always great and super fast, and the staff are really friendly, will definitely keep coming back :)) Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great coffee with Almond Breeze milk which is the best. Cabinet looked delicious but some very small savoury items were $12.50 each so I didn't buy. Expect to pay $18+ for cooked breakfast options. No gluten free options across entire muffin selection so I couldn't buy them either. Inside seating is weirdly sparse (may be renovating) but sitting outside in jn the sun was fab Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Halloumi wrap wasn’t great, most went in the bin. Hot wilted lettuce in and seemingly un-grilled halloumi in a wrap the size of my finger for $15ish. No seasoning as far as I could tell. Underwhelming breakfast. Sorry guys! Friendly service though. Second time I’ve been in and left feeling disappointed ☹️ Meal type Breakfast Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Actually only found this place as I was meeting friends with young kids so did a lil searching. So glad we did, what a great spot for them and us! Love the retro decor and comfy seating & the playroom went down a treat! Will be back for the haloumi bruschetta 👌 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I am blown away by this place and the staff! My best friend and I came in this morning for my birthday brunch, got chatting with the cashier and I let her know it was my birthday not only did they give me the coffee I ordered for free but she also brought out a beautiful GF orange cake with a decorated plate (no charge) and sang me happy birthday. I was so surprised and grateful! The food was outstanding and the coffee was beautiful. The service was fantastic! Thank you so much for making my day amazing 😊 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Came in for a coffee and scone during a rainy Sunday and was met with incredible service from the young man working the counter! The large cappuccino is HUGE, and the date scone was good as well! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Located in the centre of town. Walking inside I noticed the seating arrangement is a little sparse and the decor has no theme or atmospheric weight. The counter arrangement is odd and disjointed. The espresso machine, food cabinets and pos station being in different places means there's no direct flow for customers to follow and confusion was evident by myself and other customers behind me. The customer service was a little slow considering it was quiet and there were 3 staff on the floor with no acknowledgement from one member despite her being directly behind the counter while I waited for service. The girl who did serve however was friendly. The muffin however... Honestly what the hell did I just pay money for ?? It looks like a muffin but inside it was like a quiche made from rubber. The texture was like an eggy microwaved dish sponge the liquid to flour and egg ratio was shocking for a "premium muffin". It was lemon custard flavour but tasted of nothing except the sugar in the batter. I took 2 bites and threw it out it was so disgusting maybe also more so it cost over $5 which in this economy is not a small amount of money. Ill try this cafe again incase it was just an off day but with apprehension Service Take out Meal type Brunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
