My recent visit to Golden Grain, an allegedly "Authentic Sri Lankan Restaurant," left me utterly disheartened and questioning the integrity of this establishment. I am compelled to share my unfortunate encounter to warn others about the subpar quality and concerning business practices at this restaurant.
Let me start by addressing the most critical aspect of any dining experience: the food. To put it bluntly, the food at Golden Grain was nothing short of appalling. The dishes lacked any semblance of authenticity and failed to capture the vibrant flavors that are synonymous with Sri Lankan cuisine. It felt like the chefs had either lost their passion for cooking or were entirely clueless about how to prepare genuine Sri Lankan dishes.
What's even more disconcerting is the revelation that Golden Grain has been engaging in dubious financial practices. It has come to my attention that the restaurant procures its cooking materials from various companies on credit but fails to fulfill its financial obligations by not paying back their dues. This unethical behavior casts a dark shadow over the integrity of the establishment and raises questions about their overall credibility.
