This is a family-owned restaurant run by the most wonderful people I have ever met. They are incredibly nice and the staff is very attentive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I particularly enjoyed the seafood Kottu and had it multiple times. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking tasty, affordable food. Typical very overrated tourist place. Prices too high for what you get. Food is pretty much too salty. Really misses the touch. And especially the fish curries not worth to take. Atmosphere is good though Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Nice, cute little restaurant with a great atmosphere and good food for a reasonable price. We ate here with the two of us and chose for the rice & curry buffet. The food is great and there is a wide selection of dishes to choose from. We mainly liked the atmosphere of the place. The owners made a cozy garden setup with nice lights and music. It is a really nice place to eat. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Best chicken kottu I’ve in 2 months in Sri Lanka but the portion was small so we ordered a second plate. The curry wasn’t that great but not bad at all. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person Rs 3,000–3,500 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Lovely family-run restaurant. I took the buffet (1000 rupees) which runs from 7pm and you can go up as many times as you like. It was regularly restocked and the chef came out to check everyone was happy with the food. If you’re very hungry one night, I’d recommend going here so you can get your food right away! One of the best tasting food, friendly service and a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Service is quick. The seafood platter was delicious and the fish were fresh and meaty. Came the next day for a great delicious affordable breakfast. Live this place and would recommend it to anyone. Mixed Fruit lassi and veggi kottu was great. If you don’t take something from the menu/card you can grab from the buffet - mainly curry. Overall we would come back next time :-) Meal type Dinner Price per person Rs 2,000–2,500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Had my first dinner in Hiriketiya there last night and wow. Such a brilliant idea of having a vegetable buffet. Seeing the sign of a buffet I was quite hesitant at first. I was so mistaken. Every dish is so prepared! You can tell that the food is well loved by everyone there because it doesn’t last long. That’s nothing to worry about as it is quickly replaced by the staff who are on the ball. If you’re in the mood for some fresh food that is great price, come here Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
