I’ve ordered takeaway twice when I was in Istanbul. My hotel was 5 mins away. The simit was good. simple breakfast. There are also
others with fillings. The ones with cheeese, tomato and cucumber was equally good. I also tried
the pizza style simit. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Small bakehouse serving freshly baked bread. Simit was good, owner was friendly too. Had the simit served with some butter (or other spread of your choice) and a cup of hot tea. It makes the perfect breakfast in Turkiye

I bought a take away of small pastries (unfortunately I don't know their names).
They tasted so good, and despite looking similar, had different texture. I really liked it.
And another important note: they don't scam you just because you are a tourist. I paid for a portion that served me as dinner less than 1.5 euros (42 lires)

Walking to Karaköy just have those simit is worth the trouble. There's not many places left to maintain this authentic quality
