We would give 6 stars if we could. Very cosy environment, warm staff and delicious food, though not many choices.
A taste of home cooked food with local ingredients. My kombucha with soda tasted great too!
We enjoyed the food and listed it as our top for this whole trip around Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.
A definite must-try and will definitely return if we do pop over again.

This restaurant was literally just over the street, so we obviously had to try it out (also it looked really nice). The food was great and although it is a bit pricier than the other Teishoku Restaurants, this one had a lot of customization options and also came with a lot of great side dishes as well as a very nice drink. Furthermore, the staff was amazingly kind and friendly, even compared to other Japanese establishments. Great place, I recommend checking it out, but look at their opening times, they are only open for 4 hours on the days they operate.
I visited early at lunchtime, but the restaurant was almost full. There were many families with small children, probably because it was a holiday. The food was served quickly, and the small bowls of food served with a variety of dishes were pleasing to the eye, so we ate very quickly. It was just right for the rest of the day's activities.
