I was waiting for testy food and good service. Unfortunately my expectations were disappointing. Margret de canard was overcooked and presented with souse which doesn’t suit with duck . I have never eat such a bad Cream brûlée in my live. The service was also not good, waiter was not friendly and never remembered who and what were booked. First impression was a closed door from the both sides, we had to wait until someone opens the door for us (customers, not the staff members). Moreover, administrator seems unbothered and didn’t even smile at least once for the whole time. If you working in the service industry, make sure that you are smiling and making guests comfortable. The second waiter was very nice, restored the impression. Starters were average, cheese balls were watery, and tasteless. Chicken strips were okay. Nice to look at, but unfortunately the quality of food was not what I hoped for. The tuna tartar - tasteless with lime green sauce also a no taster. The duck breast poorly cocked. Even the Aperol Spritz was tasteless and dead. Strange, because before moving to new premises there was always good food, service and atmosphere! A empty restaurant might be a signal? After now 2 years (see my first report below) I was back again in Felsner (now on a new place) and was immediately recognized by Mrs Felsner. The food as well as the service was as good as a few years ago and I still can recommend it again. I am very happy that this excellent restaurant is still in Klaipdea and hope to be there soon again. Excellent food cooked to perfection very friendly and helpfull staff even if some of them did not speak English, they immediately looked for help. The fish (halibutt) as perfect. the only very little minus, the Champagne by glass as well as the white vine by glass was too warm. this will not be if you take a bottle as the bottle will served on ice.
