Everything was very good, from the salads, to the sandwich platters, to the meat, to the fish! We were able to get a private room for our party of 10 and the service was attentive and quick. Everyone had a great time, and we would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a high class, fine dining experience!

The best eating out experience I had in Zhytomyr. Authentic and high quality food, with a real quirky twist. The menu is wonderful and the translation for the English menu is really well done and the descriptions and stories about the food add to the allure of the place. Highly recommended.

I was a Canadian tourist looking for local food, and Familya didn't dissapoint, in fact, quite the opposite. The soups were well made and delicious..I had the "Berdychiv soup"...d e l i c i o u s wouldn't do justice to the pallette satisfying deliciousness! Thank you, and compliments to the chef! Not tasty at all, got mislead by reviews, after second take reviews looks fake (check english: it's off). No water in restroom -- big red flag; stuff is ok, but food alone is taking it down too much imho. Could not recommend

Leonid salat is genius, varenyki are extraordinary. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Beware, deruny are with eggs. Also, waiting time for salads or appetizers is above 30 mins.

Familiya is one of my favourite restaurants in Zhytomyr. This place has a very pleasant staff, amazing atmosphere, great interior and tasty cuisine. The menu is very rich and includes dishes from various national cuisines. Seasonal updates are always available here. Among my favourites are creme soups, desserts and turkish coffee. It is located in the centre, so it is always easy to get here).
