It is a historical venue with character and a beautiful courtyard. The rooms as spacious but old outfitted. Parking is outside exposed to the elements, and the restaurant is not always opened. The staff speaks several languages, the breakfast is abundant, and the location is ideal to reach the town center and walk in the woods. It is a good place but not one I would necessary choose above other options

The location and the hotel are stunning.||BUT|Terrible customer service.||I paid more than the agreed price, and nobody would help me.|I used Bookng.com for this reservation and realized that the total price I had agreed upon was 3 euros more,||The receptionist at the hotel refused to help me (she also said she was the duty manager and that the person above her was, surprise surprise, on holiday).||The customer 'service' agent I spoke to at Fletcher's helpdesk also refused to help me and hung up the phone. She also told me that her receptionist colleague had said I was rude and unfriendly - so they had obviously been in contact and had decided nobody would help me.||I have never felt this unwelcome all the years I have stayed at Fletcher. Based on this experience, I do not recommend them at all. Thinking ins solutions (either reimbursing the 3 euros or offering a free drink for the inconvenience) is something that can be improved,

On the website they put to much accent on the castle, but in fact your not staying there, but a old farmhouse that belongs to the property. The room where outdated and we pay far to much to booking.com, on their own website they promote now for 27.50 a night, we paid 100.00 euro!
Very nice historical place; large rooms, refurbishment is advisable ( clean but not neat) (but at the arrangement prices ok!). Nice staff. The restaurant at 100m from the hotel, in the historical castle, has very nice views, and a good set menu (with large choice of dishes) at moderate prices.

The hotel is not inside the castle, but it is at the other end of the road. Rooms are clean, but outdated and come with a bit of a stale smell. This has probably to do with the lack of proper ventilation or AC. Personnel is quite friendly and rooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine.

Ordered at 5pm and told the staff we were on a bit of a schedule because one guest has to drive a long way to the airport. Had to ask for the menu card. It is now 18.45 and food hasn't arrived yet. Waiters didn't offer a single drink in meanwhile. Excited to see if the food is worth the (soon to be) 2 hour wait. Update: it really, really wasn't. Bun was twice as big than it should have been compared to the amount of burger. Burger was extremely dry, both bun and meat. Bun was untoasted. Fries and salad were fine. But my god. Other guest had risotto which had at least double the amount of salt in it compared to a proper risotto. Nice castle. Don't eat here. Good place. Like you’re in a castle in middle age. They should probably renewing the menu. My last visit here was before 3 years and still they have the same menu. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €40–50
