Couples evening on Valentines Day.
Wonderful evening of dining outdoors In a beautiful and authentic setting. Sugar Apple’s music filled the evening with beautiful music.
Service was courteous and the food delicious.

Emilio s is a great local spot with an amazing menu and even more amazing staff, super welcoming and friendly. The menu is one to rave about, would recommend the Beef Short ribs for the main. As for the dessert, the white chocolate Pena Cotta was 10/10. Strongly would recommend getting the Yellow Flamingo as the go to drink of choice, if you like a perfect mix of creamy fruitness. All and all great experience and would recommend to anyone visiting the Island.

Review for No lunch. After making a reservation for 1:00PM at 11:00AM last Thursday, we arrived to be told the kitchen ran out of gas and could not cook. There was a call from the Manager making a generous offer to make up for it, which we will happily accept next year when we return again, and hope our 5 star recommendation is justified.
Thank you so much for an incredible birthday celebration! From the exceptional service by Jermain, the absolutely scrumptious dinner by Liam, to the gorgeous property! We had the grilled watermelon salad, my husband had the filet with white chocolate mashed potatoes and I had the breast of duck with truffle mashed potatoes and red wine reduction, all so delicious! For dessert we had the grand mariner panna cotta with dark chocolate sauce, I mean WOW!! The whole restaurant sang to me!! The grounds and restaurant are just gorgeous! What more can I say? Skip going to Grand Case and go here instead, you will not be disappointed! Also, parking is plentiful!
Thanks so much again! Neal & Laurie

We went for the Sunday brunch. Marvelous location, great food and exceptional service. We'll be going back for dinner on our next trip to SXM.
2024-02 ...aaand we had a great dining experience as well. Tenderloin perfectly cooked. The Duck Spring rolls were hared so the picture is only my share of the plate. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Recommended!

E X C E P T I O N A L !!! On all levels, Emilio’s is so great. Smaller portions but everything was done to the highest level of class. Service was so great. It was our last night dinner and it could not have been better. Wine list was great and the wine cellar is worth viewing for sure.

The ambiance and service were 5 star. The menu sounded exciting but was style over substance in execution. The drinks were 5 star (the guavaberry smash had a nice complexity and wasn't sweet like most tropical cocktails and the martini was classically delicious), the apps were 4 star (we had the goat cheese and fish cakes which sounded amazing but beetroot salsa was more like a few pieces of roasted beet) and the mains were 3 star (the duck was criminally overcooked and the short ribs under seasoned). Overall we enjoyed our experience but would not return for the food. The duck was taken off our bill which we didn't ask for or expect, but is a testament to the service provided.
It's difficult to give honest feedback in the moment without just sounding like a complaining shrew. We did let the server know that the duck was overcooked. There were 4 pieces of duck, I ate 1 and my husband ate 1 to confirm my assessment. And the other 2 pieces were left untouched. By contrast we ate the entire short ribs portion between us while conferring about it's being under seasoned but didn't feel free to remark since we'd consumed it. Although the beetroot mashed potatoes (although sounding exciting) were tasteless, under seasoned and cold...and went uneaten and uncomplained about. That's on us, we should have said something.

Recently ate here with my family. This was our second time here, and after a great (at least it seemed to be in our memories) first experience, we were excited to return for dinner. Unfortunately, the memories did not hold true.
Immediately, our server was cold and had an attitude, as if we were a burden to him, and he rarely checked on us throughout the evening. The food was even a further disappointment. We had the octopus appetizer which came w 3 baby bite size pieces. The duck spring rolls had a mealy consistency, but enjoyable. Dinner then took 1.5 hours to arrive to us. The food came cold, under seasoned, and overall much more pleasing to look at then eat. The short rib was bland. The shrimp risotto was undercooked. The duck breast was overcooked. The filet was the most decent.
The owner is kind and stopped by to say hello in the beginning, which was a nice touch, but then sat at the bar all evening, which is disappointing given our experience I feel could have been much different had he made the extra effort to ensure we were enjoying our meal.
Dinner here is easily >$100 pp, however, the quality did not match the price point this time around. The restaurant is beautiful and has great potential. However, this visit was a disappointing end to our trip.
