Delicious food and internet that actually works! We visited this place on 4 different occasions during our stay in Ella. We wanted to eat sri Lankan food rather than burgers, pizza, or fish and chips offered in places around. The portions were huge! We loved it. Food: 5 Service: 5

Very delicious vegetarian Rice & Curry (1500 rupies) with 5 different Curries, Coconut Sambol, Salat, Chutney, Chilli and Papadam. Rice comes in a banana leaf and you can get second portions. Also very tasty and creamy Mango Lassi. The meal was good but definitely lacked spices. We ate kothu and rice with curry. We got a lot of additions, but apart from one which was simply spicy, the rest had almost no spices added and were therefore slightly bland. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We enjoyed a selection of really delicious Sri Lankan vegetable curries here. The aubergine curry in particular was the star of the show for us. Unlike other restaurants in the area, this place hasn't yet shifted away from authenticity in pursuit of profit. The owner is humble and friendly and offered plenty of refills for our curries. Soooo goooooooddd. Tasty local food, nice owner , clean fresh delicious. Must have. Stop eating pizza and burgers for 1 night and try authentic Sri Lanka food here , everything was freshly made . This place deserve a try Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is exquisite. I’ve been in Sri Lanka several months and I’ve not tasted anything as good as this. “Rice and Curry” is too humble a title for this feast of delights in a single meal. The aubergine dish was extraordinary. Everything was fresh and hot (a rare experience in SL). The curd and kithul was very refreshing, with quality Ceylon tea to finish it off. This is an awesome family-run restaurant. I can’t recommend it too highly. Thank you for such a delicious meal on such a special day, Easter Sunday. Superb!
