My Mexican friend told me it’s the best burger in La Paz. We had to try it. I’d say it was pretty good. The fries were fat and soft, so a bit of a let down. The grilled seafood and meat plates also looked really good. I’ll definitely try again. Very casual place. Warm hospitality. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Dinner date at this off the path restaurant was not what was expected. The area was off the main strip with a big sign on the front wall of the yellow building. The seating was uncomfortable faux wicker patio furniture. It was a wood fire BBQ where they were cooking various pieces of meat. My wife ordered the beef steak which came with salad and fries. I ordered the ribs which also came with choice of potato. No salad. The portion of ribs was a good size. The steak was ok. The pricing was a bit high for what we received. No side vegetables for the ribs. The salad was simple and missing dressing. Which came later. In all we spent $ 1150 pesos for a couple drinks and some pretty good meat dishes. Friends introduced me to this restaurant and it was a fantastic experience overall with one of the best Fillet I had, and an amazing and personalized service. Back again from last year. This place is still awesome. The Chateaubriand is the best. People came over to our table to take a picture of it when the waiter brought it out. Oh, and the shrimp/mushroom appetizer was pretty tasty and I'm not a big fan of mushrooms. Our friend who ordered it couldn't stop raving how good it was. Said it was the best she ever had. Delicious food. The catch of the day was a white fish in a caper sauce. It was absolutely delicious. My partner ate the arrachera.. It was too delicious and butter smooth tender. Delicious, tender steak for a great price. Alex and Reymundo took wonderful care of us. Everything was perfect. Cool atmosphere, good drinks and phenomenal food. I can't say enough good things. They only accept cash. The food was worth every penny. Extremely reasonable in price as well. This place is better than most high end steakhouses in the US. Trust me, we have been to many. Can't beat the Chateaubriand. We asked for it medium rare PLUS. It was a little too rare. They don't mind you asking them to put a few pieces back on the grill. It's always delicious. Really, really good. We had the Chateaubriand (about 900 pesos, includes salad, baked potato and mushroom sauce), highly recommend it! Wood grilled, high quality meat.
