For starters we had a tortilla soup. They called it Sopa Azteca. It had great flavor and worth having again. Then we a taco sample platter. It was good to try out different tacos. The one that stood out with great flavor was the El Pastor taco & Chorizo taco. The chicken taco more taste like chopped ham. So that was oky. When ordering hard drinks like Vodka / Whisky request to have the alcohol placed in shots glasses or poured in frot of you. For you can see what you're getting. The place look great and was greated right away. They have parking right in front of the restaurant. That's a plus! The hours might be wrong. We went there for both lunch and dinner in different week days and it was always close. Meal type Lunch

Great location with parking, excellent service, ample variety of menu items, and everything ordered was delicious! The coffee was only luke warm, but dessert was scrumptious! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

The al pastor tacos were okay. Everything else, including every other type of taco, was a quite poor. The salsas may be the most flavorless I've had in Oaxaca. No reason to go here when so many other wonderful tacos are served nearby. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100–200 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
everytime I go to El Fogoncito, I really love the food. The caldo de pollo is always fresh. Taco "que me ves" it's a most. Lots of meat and chess. Lovely. I also quite like the michelada, but the aguas frescas, especially agua de horchata, are delicious. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $200–300
I was promptly greeted and invited to sit wherever I wanted. Since they claim they are known for their tacos gringos, I ordered the pair. After 30 min, people who came in after me had already received their food, so I ask about my order, turns out the waiter forgot my order. All that was offered was a simple apology. The tacos were fantastic though, but the service was disappointing, and their response was lacking. I may go back because their pozole looked really good, but I will order my food to go.

Consistently very good. The molcajete was great. The chicharrón de queso is the best. Nice service too. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $100–200

The prices are pretty standard for Oaxaca, but the staff are very helpful and even speak a little English if needed. The food is fast and very delicious. I would suggest the tacos
Waited over an hour for our orders. Ridiculous. Extremely overpriced for alambre that was small portions and not that good.
