The lounge is a great spot to grab a drink and have some great food. Prices are fair for the quality. Good selection of starters, things to share, and entrees. Service was awesome!! The scallops are divine. Dessert menu is fantastic. The butter cake is so good and spectacular to witness (things on fire). Lemon tart also very nice. We cannot brag about this place enough. We celebrated our 50th anniversary here and it was the best dinner choice we ever made. The table was set with flowers, candle lights, confetti, and Champaign was waiting. Dinner was incredible, served by Brittney, the music was awesome, and the list goes on and on. The managers even came by to give us best wishes. It was such an emotional night for us as the singer (David Delagarza) dedicated a few songs to us as the bar held up their glasses to toast us. What an absolutely awesome experience. Needless to say, an anniversary to remember. Thank you, Eddie V’s! We truly can’t thank you enough for making our anniversary so incredibly special. You definitely went above and beyond. We love you!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went for our anniversary and the food was delicious. The staff was very nice and attentive. Everything was served to perfection. I had the steak tartare and the scallops, both delicious. My husband had delicious lobster mashed potatoes, lobster bisque, and parmesan sole. The drinks are also very good! I highly recommend it. I can not wait to return! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Holy Moly. I have visited Eddie V'S for years. Both of the locations in Houston. They are ALWAYS top notch for ambiance from the moment you step in the door. Fortunately, Eddie V has maintained a dress code and a classy vibe. No flipflops, basketball shorts, or men in tank tops here. You will find nice jeans and boots, suits, casual office attire, upscale dresses, and dressy bar attire. The bar is lively and fun with live music of varied types but really nice with the jazz and blues. You can eat in the bar if you choose to. It makes the pre-dinner Manhattan a real experience and the bartenders know their cocktails. If you are into bourbon, I can personally recommend the Smoked Old Fashioned and Private Plane. They make an amazing Lemon Drop Martini. The wine list is extensive and varied. You will be escorted to an immaculately set table and then the quisine experience begins. We split some oysters and yellowtail sashimi, one of us had the crab cakes which are two large cakes with nothing but seared white lump crab and lemon wedges (Awesome) and the Wedge salad. If you get the chance, you may want to try the lobster tacos. They are delicious. I have had several of the salads and they are all enticing except for the beets. I don't like beets, ever. It is hard to not choose their take on the traditional wedge. It is GIANT, and we always share. Three people easily, no joke. We are never unhappy with it. Two of us decided on "The Big Eddie" seafood tower to split for our dinner (see photo)it is basically a raw and cooked, chilled seafood bonanza consisting of crab, tuna, lobster, gigantic jumbo shrimp, and more oysters! YEA!!!. The rest of our party chose Chilean Sea Bass (they have a special take on the Sea Bass) and the bone-in Ribeye with smoked chili rub as a change from their usual parmesan/horseradish crust. They did like it a lot. The augratin potatoes were a huge hit. Truly, I think they are the best potato side dish I have ever been served. Smooth, creamy, and zesty with some type of sharp cheddar that was amazing. We were actually fighting over those potatoes. The only blip to this lovely meal was that we ended up sharing a lot of our seafood tower with the meat-eaters! We say hands off our seafood tower! It can serve 4 people, but hey. 🙂 I chose a chocolate martini for desert, while the others had creme brulee, and meyer lemon tarte. My taste of those was yummy, and payback for the shared Big Eddie tower. So, all in all, We łove our visits to Eddie V's and would not change a thing. Well, sometimes the Redfish filet with lump crab Special tastes fishy....it is the only slightly negative thing I have to say. Eddie V's is the total package. They are a classy, jazz and piano music filled venue, relaxed, and enjoyable dinner out. Eddie V's is not cheap, nor is it a shorts and sneakers type of place. The waiters, bartenders, hostesses, and floor managers make extraordinary efforts to provide a beautifully prepared dining experience. The kitchen is immaculate, and in full view to the diner's. The chefs are obviously first class. No hiding here. You will not be rushed or hurried out. The staff tag-teams and provide a seamless white-glove dining experience. It is not cheap to eat here. It can be quite expensive with the highest quality fare available. A wonderful option if you are trying on Eddie V's for the first time, go for their Happy Hour. It is filled with delectible foods, cocktails, and live music. Happy Hour here is one of the best in the city. My sister's choice is to go to happy hour at Eddie V every year for her birthday. You will want to go for the dinner experience after that. Trust me. PS: I do not work for Eddie V's, I am not married to anyone there, I have not been paid or received anything in return for my review. Not even a martini. I know it might sound kind off gushy. I just love Eddie V's and hope it helps you make a decision when you are choosing a restaurant for a fancy night out. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
