The show was fun and baking for kids is no extra cost. But it's difficult to understand if you don't understand Dutch. All the descriptions and the show were in Dutch.
Nice museum for young & old. The Bakery show was so entertaining & we learned many things about specifically Dutch bakkery here in this museum. There are also a bit history of French Pattiserie, Dutch cookies traditions, etc. A must to visit. Our children love to do the "speurtocht "
Very nice experience for the kids...and adults
100% recommend for old and young. They're specialty is focus on kid's but they have a great show where the baker is the Star. His interaction is just marvelous with all the public. Kid's laugh until they can't anymore and for the oldest you even see them with tears on their eyes. The museum has a search for the treasure for the kids where they have to find all the tips to complete it. Besides kids can also bake their own cookie next to the baker :). Their restaurant has delicious a appel pie, mini pancakes (poffertjes) and some others. Go, support the museum, their restaurant and buy a iomy bread or cookie to bring home (or to family). 😊
The website is NOT clear about the fact that you MUST have a reservation to visit. They thankfully let us in anyway. It is a cute museum and my 4-year-old absolutely loved the Baker's show (the baker was pretty hilarious). And then the kids get to do a gingerbread cookie baking activity. You get a clipboard with an activity to do throughout the museum. If you complete it (or if you don't), you can turn it in at the gift shop and get a candy necklace.
Nice museum spread over three old houses, two connected via a tunnel below the street. Great history of bakery. Ended with a nice coffee outside with their home made blueberry and apple pie

Nice museum with cookie making activity for kids, treasure hunt for kids and an entertaining bread making show. Bear in mind almost everything is in Dutch however.
Nice and relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful village. Multiple buildings together form the museum. A lot of information about bread. Life story telling and bakery and for the youngsters (<14) the possibility to make something yourself. When done continue to the center, drink a bear at one of the terraces and walk along the river in a nature rich environment.

A great place for kids, that they can bake their own cookies. The theater show was great, very funny and kids loved it. Only reminders are: if your kids are under 4, the show might not be suitable, because it took about 40 minutes, many small kids just can’t stay that long. For elder kids it’s just perfect. And if you are none-Dutch speaker, the show might not be interesting. It’s crowded during the holidays. It’s nice to stay there about 2 hours.
