If you’re around then this is definitely a nice stop, it’s a very nice family and the food is great. I enjoyed a lot the food made with love from the family, the fish is fresh catched by the father, the son and daughter are super nice and their service is great. I had a fish Kottu and the following day i came back for fish rice the following day. Keep in kind if u want to have a curry there, it takes around 50mins to be ready since they make everything fresh. They gave me a nice ice cream on the house and coconut water that was freshly cut from the tree. It was just a delight being there and the prices are good for the quantity and quality of the food. This place is lovely. The food - particularly the fish - are really fresh and well cooked. The owner and the waiter are really nice and speak English, so nice to exchange with us. The bird “captured” is a bird without wings that the owner saved. It will be dead without care. Thanks, we will come back again for sure ! Incredible food! Best food so far in Sri Lanka. We had the trigger fish and the fish rice and curry. All the dishes were delicious. We also had beer and ice cream. The family are so sweet. The food is like the name of the restaurant. Just a dream. Had the best fish in sri lanka here! The owner is so friendly, he gave us many good tips for the rest of our tour and we had a lot of fun with their dogs. We fully recommend it! Cute family restaurant with fresh home-made food. We had the Chicken Kottu and Tuna Steak, both dishes were big portions and well made. The juices were delicious and the service is very friendly. We unfortunately missed out on the curry as we came at an awkward time (4pm), so will need to try those next time. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a tasty, unpretentious meal. We had prawns that come with a portion of rice and a salad. The salad was a big surprise since we're used to eating lots of salad seasoned with salt, olive oil and vinegar and it's really unlikely to come across a good salad around the globe. This one was seasoned with lime and was delicious. The homemade sauce they use on prawns was heavenly and the garlic rice very tasty. We had a meal here as a group of 4. The family is amazing and very friendly. The food took a long time to come out and we each received our meal at different times. It's a small family run kitchen so just be prepared for this. The food was tasty and priced very reasonably. A beautiful setting with some very kind, happy and friendly staff. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it. The rice & curries was unlike any that we have tried in Sri Lanka so far. 100% recommend for an evening meal and I send my best wishes to the lovely family running the restaurant.
