I tried 299 buffet. Food was basic&so so but soup was better taste than I had in Korea. Sauces 4 meat/vegi are well prepared. Hall is not that wide and little warm. No idea about quality of pork, beef n shabu-shabu. Staffs were ok n kind. May come back there when miss Korean basic meal. My top 1 samgyup place in the Philippines. I am a regular customer in Don Day. This is not your regular samgyup in PH. It's really a basic korean restaurant that offers unlimited beef, pork and buffet. I only eat beef. They have the best tasting beef samgyup in the Philippines compared to highly commercialized samgyup places there is. I'm dead serious! Once you taste the beef here, other samgyup restaurants will taste bland. And it's just plain beef!!! The staff are friendly and accommodating as well as the ownet of the restaurant who are Korean Nationals. The restaurant appeal is just basic, it doesn't have that nice interior design but as for me, I really go there for the food. I love it so much that I eat alone there at times if I don't have anyone to go with. They have a special price for solo eaters. This is my ultimate recommendation. I love Don Day! Kudos to them. This is the first time I encountered were you can’t order only beef, it has to be pork and beef. Policy was not explained before availing. A sham! It doesn’t make sense to call it a promo and have a different policy for it. A scam! We don't recommend this restaurant. Total waste of money. Its probably why people no longer go back to this place. Price point, it’s not even cheap to eat here. I don’t mind paying for a service and food that’s worth it. But this one, it’s a flop. You won’t go bankrupt for giving unlimited beef alone for 449. Whenever we are craving for authentic korean food, my mom and I will travel miles just to eat in this place. We absolutely love their soups, appetizers and main dishes. Meats for grilling are ok too. The Korean owner is always there to greet and assist. You can't get as authentic as this. You can tell how well he supervises the place. Food is cooked fresh each time. They replenish the dishes very fast and they always come out hot and tasty. You won't see "recycled/reheated" food often found in other buffet stations that are saving expenses. Staffs are well-trained, very friendly and eager to serve. You won't see any of them sulking, doing other things or moving very slow when you ask for something.
If you have never experienced Korean bbq then you will love this place. Sadly, service ruins good food. Before we sat down we were being rushed to order. Then had to ask twice for our drinks. The beef and pork were good, veggies were delicious when they were available. One thing missing for most of our meal was the Asian staple, rice. Price was decent: 2 pork 1 beef 1 soup 2 bottles of water 1 soda 1,675 pesos

Love how neat the plates were served. Grill is also impressively clean. Food is good: side dishes and soup. We availed 449 pesos unli chicken and beef, they also serve ala carte. Great customer service. Limited parking area.

This is a Korean owned restaurant. Their bulgogi beef is savory and not too sweet. Their japchae has the right level of sweetness When you order their pork and beef set, 1 plate of pork 'and' beef is served every order. They have fried chicken and spicy mussels as side dish. Ice cream is 'not' included in the 'pork and beef' set. Iced tea and service water is included in the 'pork and beef' set. Currently, they don't give a handy menu to the guests' reference during their stay. My friend and I had to ask what kinds of marinated meats are available. They used to give better dining experience (2020 and prior). I'm willing to pay a bit more to get that experience again. Outstanding customer service. Amazingly affordable buffet, grill, and shabu shabu experience. Reserved via Facebook and they responded promptly. Owner gave the kids in our group free melona! So thoughtful! Food is good and flavorful. They used to have some issues with ventilation before (pre pandemic) but it seems like they have resolved it already. Happy to have celebrated my birthday here. 🥰 Will definitely come back.
