We just walked for a drink in without a reservation on Christmas night. Great service, and atmosphere. Would certainly go there for dinner next time. We had dinner on the next Christmas night. Huge advantage is that they have their regular menu plus some Christmas specials, and not like the other restaurants force you in a set menu of boring old- fashioned Christmas dishes. Disadvantage is that it's a crowded place. We asked for a quiet table in the corner, but ended up beside the kitchen entrance/opposite the kids corner. Just moaning I guess. First time at the walrus grand café in Sneek and the waiters and waitresses were very welcoming and friendly, warm and decorative atmosphere, yummy food, presented well, had a really nice evening here. Had a lovely dinner here with some friends. The place is big, has seating outside and ample space indoors. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was DELICIOUS. I would recommend to go for the grand dessert (for two) to have a taste of all their assortments they have available.
