We had a company diner in the private area. Food was good but just before the desert, we saw two big rats walking by the ceiling (inside), very disappointed and discussing!! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Very cozy restaurant in the middle of Amersfoort, I guess we could call this the old town. Very friendly service and very good tasty food. Price also not too bad. Nice atmosphere when you sit outside on the square. It took a long time before we could order drinks, and then again a long time before our (very simple) drinks were delivered. Maybe 30 min in total? Then no one came back to check on us for a very long time, so we ended up leaving instead of ordering another drink. Can't comment on the food since we didn't eat anything. Fine restaurant with high quality beer and wide range of beers. Not happy from stuff. We have been there for an hour waiting. At the beginning table was dirty so I asked to clean that mess. Waiter was unpleasant that I want something from him and he has started cleaning tables which were free and let us wait with that dirty table like he is not there to clean tables… that was really stupid from him as he looked like very young boy/child. After that we took two beers and as waiter was unpleasant we left and ordered meal in Charlies restaurant next to this. I would really recommend think about how they behave to customer. Nice place to sit. The weather was awesome and hot and the restaurants shady tables were great to sit and have a prosecco. The food was good and the service was friendly and helpful.
