The weather was nice so we could sit outide but the downside is "the amount of dogs"! You get the feeling that you are in a kennel and hair flows everywhere (in drinks and food), and dont forget the smell. I know, dog owners dont smell this anymore and remind you that you are in a forest area, but still, for us it was a minor.

Nice place to have a drink or two halfway a stroll through the surrounding woods and moors. Dogs are welcome here, provided that they are well-behaved.
Nous avons dégusté des pancakes après une belle balade dans les dunes, un lieu insolite et très bien aménagé pour les promenades à pieds, à cheval ou en vélo et un parcours dédié aux chiens que notre beagle a bien apprécié

Accomodated 9 of us when they were already pretty busy, the food was great and the Staff were super friendly.
The place is well located, the beer selection is great, staff is very friendly and the food is good - go for the specials of the day and you won’t go wrong

Used to celebrate my grandparents birthday here many many years ago and though it gut a bit more busy and commercial, the atmosphere is still the same so thumbs up! Nice place to go after some biking or walking in the dunes ...
I love the setting for this restaurant, right at the base of the dunes. Very dog friendly, kid friendly, and cyclist friendly. The kids meals even come with a "gift" that surprisingly isn't a small plastic toy that you'll immediately throw away. There's a large selection of beers and pancakes, a kids menu, and other food like nachos, hamburger, ham and cheese toast. We were happy to let the kids play in the dunes and the small playground, while we sat and had a drink and food at the restaurant. Lots of parking. Would happily go again. The setting was great and we enjoyed the parosoles. The coffee was hot, strong and we enjoyed the overall experience! If the service was the same for the day we would come back, but the order taker was indifferent not to say plain rude, the service from the lady who brought the coffee was excellent!!!
Great morning. We had a nice walk close to De Roestelberg. This place was close and great to relax before going home. We ordered some drinks and nachos and got worth our money. It was busy and therefore sometimes hard for staff to see everyone but still the service was fast! Unfortunately they were out of ice coffee, because of the crowd and the warm weather. They had a drinking area for the dogs and everything was spaced out very well. I would definitely recommend and go back another time.
Relaxed place for a drink and food. Perfect outdoor area and warm inside space if cold outside. Perfect starting and ending point for the dog trail through the sand dunes. So much fun for dogs and owners to be able to stroll free through a beautiful stretch of nature
