Come here for perfectly cooked op la, pork and salads if you are hungry. Order tasty pancakes, poffertjes and stroopwafel. Great tea is the right choice. If you want to eat out in the forest and feel you're in nature this is the place to be. Enough parking space and signed walking routes from here as well for the little ones. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Found the service very slow and food overpriced. The facilities are nice though and restaurant is in a beautiful location. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Beautiful location in the forest. If you want to taste Dutch pancakes you are on the right spot! Also great starting point for hikes and walks. There are cool routes well indicated to walk with children. In Summer there is a big terrace. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The pofetjes were good. The vibe is not bad. The pancake were horrible ( looked like a mutated deep fry relative of a pancake and tasted like cardboard). The hamburger was very disappointing. Sub standard for dutch restaurants. Need to improve recipes. Oh, and the road there is in very bad condition. Great location, but above needs urgent attention.

Nice restaurant in the woods. Excellent parking facility. Service at the table could be better but still acceptable. The pancake was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant as an almost excellent pancake restaurant.

What a lovely place in the middle of the woods. Very friendly staff. The pancakes are HUGE!! But lots of flavour. Highly recommended, also suitable for kids as there's a very nice, natural playground where they can entertain themselves endlessly. We will be back!!

Trip down memory lane: last time it was when very young with my sister and parents (almost 40 years ago). A different Ossenstal but the special Ossenstal pancake still exist! Memorable yet sobering as time changes everything.

Beautifully situated amidst the Dutch forests, away from motorised traffic lies this pancake restaurant. It offers delicious food - not only pancakes - and a friendly staff. The outdoor terrace is among the trees and grass. It also features a playground and several nature hikes.
