An absolute jewel in this area. We searched Pretty Bay but only found fast food outlets. We are so pleased the google reviews were accurate. This restaurant is outstanding. The chef hails from Malta and Naples- and the food is outstanding. Her partner manages everything else and he is delightful. We now feel like family. Would highly recommend the linguine and the rabbit. We loved the complementary after dinner liqueur. Our best restaurant in Malta. Can’t wait to return.

Dar Is-Sajjied was such a pleasant surprise to find!
I had the pleasure of speaking with most of the staff. Humble, friendly and passionate about their work; Dar Is-Sajjied’s service was definitely something to write home about.
And in case you’re wondering about the food, I took the Tagliatelle with Truffle Sauce and Parmigiana, and the Duck Croquettes. My parents too the fish platter, and all three of us were impressed with the quality of the food and the high standard of the service.
This quaint restaurant is a hidden gem in the south of Malta, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I’ll definitely be back. 👏

The restaurant is a lovely place where one can eat with a view on the sea. The menu is large and diverse enough so that everyone can get something they like, but small enough to not get lost in it.
The staff is really friendly and the chef an excellent cook. The pasta dish I ordered was made superbly and was excellently seasoned, and the portion was big enough to leave full and satisfied.
So, all things considered, I can really only recommend this place.

Beautiful family run restaurant with wonderful food and atmosphere.
I thought the 5 star review was a mistake so had to see if it measured up. It most certainly did!
We went here looking for somewhere a little quieter and away from the hustle of Marsaxlokk harbour.
The food was incredible, fresh seafood and wonderful wine. Matched with friendly service made for a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

We went there today to have a small snack, however they were closed. But that did not stop us from having a great conversation with the owner. He helped us out a lot, gave valuable tips about the area, restaurants etc and was all around a friendly fella.

Great food and amazing atmosphere!
A small menu but enough variety to fit all tastes (my friend is vegatarian). We enjoyed everything we ordered. The owners are amazingly friendly and the location is just perfect facing the Marina.

Don’t the low number of reviews stop you from trying this fantastic place! It deserves its 5 stars.
The service was personable and intimate, the food was perfect and genuinely local - and the view of the bay was the icing on the cake.
At the end of the meal they even gave us a bottle of P31 to pour our own drinks when they found we were from NZ and had not had it - free of charge.
A perfect Malta long lunch.
