An hour after I ordered the food, I asked how much longer it would take. The relaxed answer of the waiter was that he forgot to send the order to the kitchen.
Food was really tasty, fresh and well prepared.
Some staff was great (kind male waiter that helped us with food and wine choice) but others were pretty indifferent or a bit unpleasant at moments. But we were happy with service in general. What bothered us is the hygiene on the bottom floor - non smoking room. We saw some dead cockroaches and some running around. We hope to see it improved!
Why should one decide to dine in Danubis when Zemun is full of amazing restaurants? Well, food is tasty and selection of it and drinks is large. Location is accessible and amazing, if you are sitting in the garden you will have a beautiful river view, which is specially pleasant for the eyes during spring when temperatures are perfect and when everything is in bloom. Service was average, at moments even slow, waiter wasn't very kind and was acting like he was in a rush all the time. Portions are quite large while the prices aren't, which is good.

Conclusion: If you want just a sleep,its ok.
If you stay many days,maybe you have to check for other places.
Went 3 times in a week and service was super slow and from 2 indifferent and disinterested waiters. Waiters do not listen , so had to repeat order and then inquire for items multiple times. Food is mediocre at best. Locations is a plus for sure and reason I gave em 3 chances and barely 2 stars. Such a pity for a place that could shine and stand out at a great location.
Very bad experience. You can not have only drinks in the row near the water althou there were enough free tables. You can sit there only if you WILL eat. It is rude to visitors.
